Abstract
A method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery is provided. The method includes steps of manufacturing a battery cell by disposing an electrode assembly in a battery case, and injecting electrolyte, and performing a pre-cycle for the battery cell at least three times in a voltage range of from 2.50 V to 4.35 V.

A method for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising steps of:
- manufacturing a battery cell by disposing an electrode assembly in a battery case, and injecting electrolyte;
- and
- performing a pre-cycle for the battery cell at least three times in a voltage range of from 2.50 V to 4.35 V.
A lithium secondary battery comprising a battery case, and an electrode assembly and electrolyte accommodated in the battery case,
- wherein a frictional force between an inner surface of the battery case and the electrode assembly is at least 21 kilogram-force (kgf).
