A computer implemented method for processing near field communication (NFC) tags associated with packaged products is disclosed. A computing device receives a production request including product data and requested NFC processing operations and transmits the production request to middleware communicatively coupled to an NFC reader. A packaged product comprising a container having a container NFC tag and a plurality of items having respective item NFC tags is positioned adjacent the NFC reader. The NFC reader reads the container NFC tag and the item NFC tags during a reading operation. Identifiers associated with the NFC tags are transmitted to the computing device, which determines whether a quantity of item NFC tags corresponds to an expected quantity associated with the product data. The computing device associates the container NFC tag with one or more item NFC tags and performs one or more NFC processing operations including tag activation, deactivation, production information assignment, inventory association, shipment association, and defective tag replacement.
A computer implemented method for processing near field communication (NFC) tags associated with packaged products, the method comprising:
A system for processing near field communication (NFC) tags associated with packaged products, the system comprising:
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause a computing system to perform operations for processing near field communication (NFC) tags associated with packaged products, the operations comprising:
