Multi-agent rule-based system management using large language models

A system, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a first user input indicating to create a rule in a rule-based system;
• searching rules of the rule-based system based at least in part on the first user input;
• forming a prompt for a first large language model based at least in part on a result of the search and the first user input;
• generating the rule based at least in part on inputting the prompt in the first large language model;
• simulating the rule against historic data of the rule-based system to determine a performance metric associated with the rule;
• and
• adding the rule to the rule-based system based at least in part on the performance metric.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a first user input indicating to create a rule in a rule-based system;
• searching rules of the rule-based system based at least in part on the first user input;
• forming a prompt for a first large language model based at least in part on a result of the search and the first user input;
• generating the rule based at least in part on inputting the prompt in the first large language model;
• simulating the rule against historic data of the rule-based system to determine a performance metric associated with the rule;
• and
• adding the rule to the rule-based system based at least in part on the performance metric.
