Method of Displaying Content On A Screen Of An Electronic Processing Device

A computer implemented method of displaying message content on a screen of an electronic processing device, wherein a data processing application of said electronic processing device is configured to perform the steps of:

• upon a user wanting to read or see a message received by said electronic processing device, the data processing application configures a camera and/or sensor of the electronic processing device or an associated electronic processing device to capture biometric data of the user;
• monitoring the camera and/or sensor of the electronic processing device or the associated electronic processing device to receive a biometric data input from the camera and/or sensor;
• using the biometric data input to locally determine that a user is an authorized or recognized user and, if yes, in response to a positive determination, arranging the message content into a format suitable for display on said screen of said data processing application;
• causing display of the message content on said screen only after the user is authorized or recognized;
• and
• receiving a continuous stream of the biometric data input and continuously reverifying the biometric data input to determine continued presence of the user at the electronic processing device and to continue to display the message content.

A computer implemented method of authorizing access to an electronic processing device, wherein a data processing application of said electronic processing device is configured to perform the steps of:

• upon a user wanting access to any one or more of applications, functions, content, user interfaces, data, executable instructions on the electronic processing device, the data processing application configures a sensor of the electronic processing device or an associated electronic processing device to capture biometric data of the user;
• monitoring the sensor of the electronic processing device or the associated electronic processing device to receive a biometric data input from the sensor;
• using the biometric data input to locally determine that a user is an authorized or recognized user and, if yes, in response to a positive determination, enabling user access to any one or more of said applications, functions, content, user interfaces, data, executable instructions on the electronic processing device;
• allowing user access only after the user is authorized or recognized;
• and
• receiving a continuous stream of the biometric data input and continuously reverifying the biometric data input to determine continued presence of the user at the electronic processing device and to continue enabling user access.
