Cleaning Vehicle for Cleaning a Monorail of a Monorail System

A cleaning vehicle for cleaning a monorail of a monorail system used to guide a rail vehicles, comprising:

• a plurality of track wheels by means of which the cleaning vehicle can be placed in a position of use on the monorail to be cleaned, wherein the cleaning vehicle can perform a vehicle movement along the monorail in its position of use, which movement can be induced by an associated drive device;
• and
• a rail cleaning device which has at least one cleaning unit, which can be positioned or is positioned in the vicinity of the monorail to be cleaned at least during a cleaning run of the cleaning vehicle that can be performed by the vehicle movement, in order to perform a surface treatment on this monorail during a cleaning process that induces the removal of contaminants,
• wherein the rail cleaning device is designed as a laser cleaning device which has a laser located on board the cleaning vehicle, wherein the at least one cleaning unit comprises a laser radiation exit area for the exit of laser radiation which can be generated by the laser and directed onto the monorail to be cleaned in order to remove contaminants of the rail to be cleaned in order to remove contaminants.
