Systems and methods for collecting and storing biometric identifiers

A method for manufacturing a system for collecting and storing one or more biometric identifiers, the method comprising:

• forming a collection document having a portion configured to be positioned in a mouth of a first user, the collection document having a first panel, a second panel, and a third panel, wherein the portion is located at least in part on the third panel, and wherein the portion is configured to collect a first biometric identifier of the first user while the collection document is positioned within the mouth of the first user;
• wherein the collection document is formed such that the collection document may be adjusted from an open configuration into a closed configuration by adjusting the collection document comprising:
• folding the third panel such that a first face of the third panel is positionally opposing a first face of the second panel;
• and
• folding the first panel such that a first face of the first panel is positionally opposing a second face of the third panel, wherein the first biometric identifier that is deposited on the third panel is positionally opposing a first section of the first face of the second panel that does not include a biometric identifier such that the third panel is positioned between the first panel and the second panel while in the closed configuration and such that the portion of the third panel with the first biometric identifier of the first user is at least partially protected from one or more environmental factors.
