Abstract

A driving tool includes a speed reduction mechanism that reduces an output of an electric motor and a hammer that is driven to rotate by an output transmitted from the speed reduction mechanism to strike a driver to drive a nail. The driving tool further includes an inner housing that accommodates the electric motor, the speed reduction mechanism, and the hammer, and an outer housing that encloses the inner housing and is provided with a grip. The driving tool also includes an elastic coupling mechanism that elastically couples the inner housing and the outer housing to allow relative movement to absorb a reaction force generated when the hammer strikes the driver.
