Abstract
A fluidic probe may include an elongate probe body, comprising a first end and a second end opposing the first end, wherein the first end defines a piercing tip, a first aperture formed in the elongate probe body proximate the piercing tip, and an inner channel extending between the first end and the second end, wherein the elongate probe body is formed of a metal-free polymer matrix and a non-metallic reinforcement material.
Claims22
A fluidic probe, comprising:
- an elongate probe body, comprising:
- a first end and a second end opposing the first end, wherein the first end defines a piercing tip;
- a first aperture formed in the elongate probe body proximate the piercing tip;
- and
- an inner channel extending between the first end and the second end, wherein the elongate probe body is formed of a metal-free polymer matrix and a non-metallic reinforcement material.

A fluidic handling system, comprising:
- an elongate probe body removably coupled to a fluid handling structure, the elongate probe body comprising:
- a first end and a second end opposing the first end, wherein the first end defines a piercing tip;
- a first aperture formed in the elongate probe body proximate the piercing tip;
- and
- an inner channel extending between the first end and the second end, wherein the elongate probe body is formed of a metal-free polymer matrix and a non-metallic reinforcement material.
2 more elements
A method of fluidic handling, comprising:
- piercing a surface of fluidic container with a piercing tip of an elongate probe body, the elongate probe body comprising:
- a first end and a second end opposing the first end, wherein the first end defines a piercing tip;
- a first aperture formed in the elongate probe body proximate the piercing tip;
- and
- an inner channel extending between the first end and the second end, wherein the elongate probe body is formed of a metal-free polymer matrix and a non-metallic reinforcement material.
