Golf club head with insert

An iron-type golf club head, comprising:

• a strikeface, formed of a strikeface material, having a strikeface perimeter and a strikeface rear surface;
• a rear body, formed of a body material, extending from the strikeface perimeter and comprising:
• a perimeter wall coupled to the strikeface perimeter;
• a toe;
• a heel opposite the toe;
• a top rail;
• a sole opposite the top rail;
• an alignment feature;
• a cavity defined by the strikeface rear surface and the rear body and extending rearward of the strikeface rear surface;
• and
• an undercut extending between the perimeter wall and the strikeface perimeter;
• wherein the cavity and the undercut together define a cavity total volume;
• and
• an insert, formed of an insert material different than the strikeface material and the body material, occupying the cavity and at least a portion of the undercut, the insert comprising:
• a plurality of interconnected walls defining an array of voids;
• an insert front surface abutting the strikeface rear surface;
• an insert rear surface, opposite the insert front surface, abutting the rear body;
• an insert central region occupying the cavity and defining a contour complementary to a contour of the cavity;
• an insert perimeter region occupying at least a portion of the undercut and defining a contour complementary to the portion of the undercut;
• a protrusion received in the alignment feature;
• an insert total volume corresponding to a volume bounded by a surface defined by perimeter-most points of the insert, wherein the insert total volume is 20-100% of the cavity total volume;
• an insert filled volume corresponding to a volume of the interconnected walls, which does not include the voids, wherein the insert filled volume is 5-90% of the insert total volume;
• wherein each void of the array of voids comprises:
• a void front end adjacent the insert front surface;
• a void base end opposite the void front end and adjacent the insert rear surface;
• and
• a void sidewall extending from the void front end to the void base end and defining a void shape and a void volume.
