Abstract
Suspension formulations of nanoparticles of clobetasol propionate are described. The suspensions can be used therapeutically to treat skin and ocular burns; to enhance wound healing; to prevent or reduce hypertrophic scarring/keloids; to treat allergic rhinitis/sinusitis, asthma, inner ear disorders including hearing loss, tinnitus, or vertigo, tenosynovitis, tendinitis, enthesitis or arthritis.

A method for treating inflammation associated with a trauma, injury or wound, inner ear disorder, or respiratory disorder in a subject, the method comprising administering a composition comprising a sterile suspension formulation of nanoparticles of clobetasol propionate to the subject.
A drop, spray, mist, aerosol, gel, or injection formulation comprising a suspension of nanoparticles of clobetasol propionate.
A unit dose comprising a sterile suspension of nanoparticles of clobetasol propionate, where the unit dose is configured for administration by injection, topical dermal application, intra-articular injection, intradermal injection, inhalation, instillation in the nasal cavity, intratympanic injection, or ocular instillation.
