A trimetazidine solid phase, selected from trimetazidine solid dispersions in a non-acidic pharmaceutically acceptable matrix compound, and trimetazidine complexes with theophylline, wherein a trimetazidine solid dispersion is a dispersion of trimetazidine in its free base, liquid form, in a non-acidic, pharmaceutically acceptable solid matrix compound.
