Abstract
A system and method for installing hair extensions utilizes a hair extension installation clip comprising opposing clip arms biased toward a clamped position and configured to segment a section of natural hair into discrete portions. A shield portion of the clip supports a hair attachment layer comprising hook-and-loop fasteners that secures a portion of the natural hair while an upper portion is clamped between the clip arms which maintain separation of adjacent hair portions during installation.
