Abstract
An electronic device comprising: an enclosure having an enclosure wall that forms a back volume chamber around a transducer and an acoustic tube coupling the back volume chamber to an environment surrounding the enclosure wall; and a valve coupled to the acoustic tube and operable to automatically tune the acoustic tube in response to a sound pressure level of the transducer.

An electronic device comprising:
- an enclosure having an enclosure wall that forms a back volume chamber around a transducer and an acoustic tube coupling the back volume chamber to an environment surrounding the enclosure wall;
- and
- a valve coupled to the acoustic tube and operable to automatically tune the acoustic tube in response to a sound pressure level of the transducer.
An electronic device comprising:
- an enclosure having an interior chamber and an acoustic pathway coupling the interior chamber to an environment surrounding the enclosure;
- a speaker coupled to the enclosure, the speaker having a sound output side that outputs sound to the environment surrounding the enclosure and a back side acoustically coupled to the interior chamber and the acoustic pathway;
- and
- a valve coupled to the acoustic pathway and operable to automatically modify an air volume of the acoustic pathway in response to a sound pressure level of the speaker.
