A management device in a communication system,

• the communication system including:
• a plurality of control devices and the management device each provided by at least a processor and a memory and configured to be capable of communicating a message through a communication line;
• a main communication route that enables a main message to be communicated between the management device and a control device, and that includes a main communication line connecting the management device and the control device, wherein the control device is included in the plurality of control devices;
• and
• a redundant route that includes a redundant communication line connecting between two or more target devices, wherein the two or more target devices are between at least two of the management device and the plurality of control devices, and the redundant route is one or more redundant routes,
• wherein a message arbitration unit is provided in one or more of:
• the management device and the control device, and the message arbitration unit performs arbitration on two or more of:
• the main message and one or more redundant messages,
• wherein the management device is configured to send the main message regarding activation or stop of the control device and the one or more redundant messages having the same message as the main message to the control device by using the main communication route and the redundant route,
• wherein the abnormality detection route switchover unit is provided by at least the processor and the memory.

A control device in a communication system,

• the communication system including:
• a plurality of control devices and a management device each provided by at least a processor and a memory and configured to be capable of communicating a message through a communication line;
• a main communication route that enables a main message to be communicated between the management device and a control device, and that includes a main communication line connecting the management device and the control device, wherein the control device is included in the plurality of control devices;
• and
• a redundant route that includes a redundant communication line connecting between two or more target devices, wherein the two or more target devices are between at least two of the management device and the plurality of control devices, and the redundant route is one or more redundant routes,
• wherein the management device is configured to send the main message regarding activation or stop of the control device and a redundant message having the same message as the main message to the control device by using the main communication route and the redundant route, wherein the redundant message is one or more redundant messages,
• the control device comprising:
• a message arbitration unit that performs arbitration on two or more of:
• the main message and the one or more redundant messages,
• wherein the message arbitration unit is provided by at least the processor and the memory.

A control method performed by a communication system,

• the communication system including:
• a plurality of control devices and a management device each provided by at least a processor and a memory and configured to be capable of communicating a message through a communication line;
• a main communication route that enables a main message to be communicated between the management device and a control device, and that includes a main communication line connecting the management device and the control device, wherein the control device is included in the plurality of control devices;
• and
• a redundant route that includes a redundant communication line connecting between two or more target devices, wherein the two or more target devices are between at least two of the management device and the plurality of control devices, and the redundant route is one or more redundant routes,
• wherein the management device is configured to send the main message regarding activation or stop of the control device and a redundant message having the same message as the main message to the control device by using the main communication route and the redundant route, wherein the redundant message is one or more redundant messages,
• the control method comprising:
• by one or more of the management device and the control device, performing arbitration on two or more of:
• the main message and the one or more redundant messages.

A non-transitory storage medium storing a control program executed by a communication system,

• the communication system including:
• a plurality of control devices and a management device each provided by at least a processor and a memory and configured to be capable of communicating a message through a communication line;
• a main communication route that enables a main message to be communicated between the management device and a control device, and that includes a main communication line connecting the management device and the control device, wherein the control device is included in the plurality of control devices;
• and
• a redundant route that includes a redundant communication line connecting between two or more target devices, wherein the two or more target devices are between at least two of the management device and the plurality of control devices, and the redundant route is one or more redundant routes,
• the control program causing:
• the management device to send the main message regarding activation or stop of the control device and a redundant message having the same message as the main message to the control device by using the main communication route and the redundant route, wherein the redundant message is one or more redundant messages;
• and
• one or more of the management device and the control device to perform arbitration on two or more of:
• the main message and the one or more redundant messages.
