Abstract
Systems and methods are described for managing digital rights. A transaction may be generated and may comprise an identifier and a decryption key. The decryption key may be configured to decrypt at least a portion of an encrypted content asset accessible by one or more user devices. The transaction may be caused to be stored in a distributed database.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, based on authorization to access an encrypted content asset, an identifier associated with the encrypted content asset;
- determining, based on using the identifier to locate data associated with a distributed ledger, decryption information;
- and
- causing, based on using the decryption information to decrypt the encrypted content asset, output of at least a portion of the decrypted content asset.

A device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the device to:
- receive, based on authorization to access an encrypted content asset, an identifier associated with the encrypted content asset;
- determine, based on using the identifier to locate data associated with a distributed ledger, decryption information;
- and
- cause, based on using the decryption information to decrypt the encrypted content asset, output of at least a portion of the decrypted content asset.
4 more elements
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause:
- receiving, based on authorization to access an encrypted content asset, an identifier associated with the encrypted content asset;
- determining, based on using the identifier to locate data associated with a distributed ledger, decryption information;
- and
- causing, based on using the decryption information to decrypt the encrypted content asset, output of at least a portion of the decrypted content asset.
