Examples provide a system, method, and computer storage device for dynamic beamforming that includes a static antenna array configured to receive signals from a plurality of sources, a source identifier that analyzes the received signals to determine an amount of interest, and a weight assigner that assigns weights to the signal sources based on the determined amount of interest. A beamformer generates a beamforming pattern using the assigned weights and applies the beamforming pattern to a dynamic antenna array. The dynamic antenna array receives signals based on the applied beamforming pattern. The beamforming pattern enhances reception of prioritized signals by forming directional lobes toward sources of interest while creating nulls toward sources of little or no interest. The system optionally incorporates environmental data from sensors such as an inertial-measurement unit to account for changes in relative positions of the signal sources or the antenna arrays.
