Switched capacitor dual-path dc cancellation front-end amplifier

A system, comprising:

• an electrode;
• and
• a front-end amplifier comprising:
• a signal input coupled to the electrode;
• an operational amplifier (op-amp) comprising a non-inverting op-amp input coupled to the signal input, an inverting op-amp input, and an op-amp output;
• a capacitor comprising a plurality of ports;
• a first switch coupled between a first capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the inverting op-amp input;
• a second switch coupled between a second capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the op-amp output;
• a third switch coupled between a third capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the signal input;
• and
• a fourth switch coupled between a fourth capacitor port of the plurality of ports and ground.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising stored instructions to manufacture a device, the device comprising:

• a signal input;
• an operational amplifier (op-amp) comprising a non-inverting op-amp input coupled to the signal input, an inverting op-amp input, and an op-amp output;
• a capacitor comprising a plurality of ports;
• a first switch coupled between a first capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the inverting op-amp input;
• a second switch coupled between a second capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the op-amp output;
• a third switch coupled between a third capacitor port of the plurality of ports and the signal input;
• and
• a fourth switch coupled between a fourth capacitor port of the plurality of ports and ground.
