Abstract
A rotor includes a plurality of magnets arranged in a circumferential direction and a plurality of magnetic pole pieces. In the circumferential direction, the magnetic pole piece is in contact with two adjacent magnets of the plurality of magnets. A lateral surface of the magnetic pole piece extending in the circumferential direction includes a recessed part extending in a radial direction.

A rotor comprising:
- a plurality of magnets arranged in a circumferential direction;
- and
- a plurality of magnetic pole pieces,
- wherein, in the circumferential direction, the magnetic pole piece is in contact with two adjacent magnets of the plurality of magnets, and
- a lateral surface of the magnetic pole piece extending in the circumferential direction includes a recessed part extending in a radial direction.
