Sense amplifier driver layout in 3d-dram

An apparatus comprising:

• a 3D memory array patch comprising a plurality of memory cells arranged at the intersection of a plurality of word lines extending in a first direction and a plurality of local digit lines extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, wherein sets of the plurality of local digit lines are coupled to one of a plurality of global digit lines extending in a third direction orthogonal to the first and the second direction;
• a plurality of sense amplifiers organized in a grid with rows extending in the first direction and columns extending in the third direction;
• and
• a sense amplifier driver positioned between two of the rows of the grid of the plurality of sense amplifiers.

An apparatus comprising:

• a 3D memory array comprising a plurality of memory cells organized in a three-dimensional array along a first direction, second direction, and third direction;
• a row of sense amplifiers extending along the first direction and positioned above the 3D memory array;
• a sense amplifier driver extending along the first direction and positioned adjacent to the row of sense amplifiers, wherein the sense amplifier driver is configured to provide a voltage;
• a rail extending in the first direction along a width of the row of sense amplifiers;
• and
• a plurality of conductive elements extending in the third direction and configured to couple the voltage to the rail.
