Sensor data processing

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• obtaining a first set of sensor data representing one or more first physical characteristics of aquatic livestock within an enclosure, the first set of sensor data being captured by a camera positioned at a first depth inside the enclosure during a first period of time;
• obtaining a second set of sensor data representing one or more second physical characteristics of the aquatic livestock different than the first physical characteristics, the second set of sensor data being captured by the camera positioned at a second depth inside the enclosure during a second period of time, the second depth being different from the first depth;
• detecting a physical behavior of the aquatic livestock based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data;
• generating a control instruction based on the detected physical behavior of the aquatic livestock;
• and
• automatically initiating a physical action for the aquatic livestock by transmitting the generated control instruction to a hardware subsystem associated with the enclosure.

One or more non-transitory computer storage media encoded with computer program instructions that when executed by one or more computers cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining a first set of sensor data representing one or more first physical characteristics of aquatic livestock within an enclosure, the first set of sensor data being captured by a camera positioned at a first depth inside the enclosure during a first period of time;
• obtaining a second set of sensor data representing one or more second physical characteristics of the aquatic livestock different than the first physical characteristics, the second set of sensor data being captured by the camera positioned at a second depth inside the enclosure during a second period of time, the second depth being different from the first depth;
• detecting a physical behavior of the aquatic livestock based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data;
• generating a control instruction based on the detected physical behavior of the aquatic livestock;
• and
• automatically initiating a physical action for the aquatic livestock by transmitting the generated control instruction to a hardware subsystem associated with the enclosure.

A system comprising:

• one or more computers and one or more storage devices on which are stored instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining a first set of sensor data representing one or more first physical characteristics of aquatic livestock within an enclosure, the first set of sensor data being captured by a camera positioned at a first depth inside the enclosure during a first period of time;
• obtaining a second set of sensor data representing one or more second physical characteristics of the aquatic livestock different than the first physical characteristics, the second set of sensor data being captured by the camera positioned at a second depth inside the enclosure during a second period of time, the second depth being different from the first depth;
• detecting a physical behavior of the aquatic livestock based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data;
• generating a control instruction based on the detected physical behavior of the aquatic livestock;
• and
• automatically initiating a physical action for the aquatic livestock by transmitting the generated control instruction to a hardware subsystem associated with the enclosure.
