Video sharing system and video sharing method

A video sharing system comprising:

• a first mobile information terminal;
• and
• a second mobile information terminal,
• the first mobile information terminal including:
• a first display;
• a first communication interface that transmits and receives data with the second mobile information terminal;
• and
• a first processor configured to control the first display and the first communication interface,
• the first processor being configured to execute visual sharing control by, in accordance with a selection operation made by a user of the first mobile information terminal or a user of the second mobile information terminal, switching a display mode of a personalized display object, which is a virtual object designated for visual sharing, from a video as seen from a viewpoint position of the first mobile information terminal to a video as seen from a viewpoint direction of the second mobile information terminal based on data received via the first communication interface, and
• the first display being configured to display the personalized display object using the video as seen from the viewpoint direction of the second mobile information terminal.
