Reading device, reading method, and non-transitory computer readable medium

A reading method comprising:

• storing work identification information for identifying work content and target item information indicating a target item included in a target label necessary for execution of the work content in association with each other;
• acquiring scan information indicating information obtained by collectively reading a plurality of labels attached to an article;
• acquiring work information related to work to be worked on by a worker, and specifying the work identification information relevant to the work information;
• and
• detecting the target label from the plurality of labels of the scan information based on the target item information associated with the specified work identification information, and extracting description contents of the target item from the target label as target information.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute a reading method, the reading method including:

• storing work identification information for identifying work content and target item information indicating a target item included in a target label necessary for execution of the work content in association with each other;
• acquiring scan information indicating information obtained by collectively reading a plurality of labels attached to an article;
• acquiring work information related to work to be worked on by a worker, and specifying the work identification information relevant to the work information;
• and
• detecting the target label from the plurality of labels of the scan information based on the target item information associated with the specified work identification information, and extracting description contents of the target item from the target label as target information.
