Provision of topics for incoming communications

A system, the system comprising:

• a processor;
• a memory device that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the system to:
• obtain, using a recall assistance system of a communication device, information associated with previous interactions between a user of the communication device and a stored contact of the user;
• detect, using the recall assistance system, an incoming communication on the communication device from the stored contact of the user;
• and
• transmit, using the recall assistance system and upon the detecting of the incoming communication, instructions to display, on a display device of the communication device and concurrently with an indication of the incoming communication, generated recollection content related to at least one topic identified from the previous interactions between the user and the stored contact and identified as having a relevancy to the stored contact and the user.

A product, the product comprising:

• a computer-readable storage device that stores executable code that, when executed by a processor, causes the product to:
• obtain, using a recall assistance system of a communication device, information associated with previous interactions between a user of the communication device and a stored contact of the user;
• detect, using the recall assistance system, an incoming communication on the communication device from the stored contact of the user;
• and
• transmit, using the recall assistance system and upon the detecting of the incoming communication, instructions to display, on a display device of the communication device and concurrently with an indication of the incoming communication, generated recollection content related to at least one topic identified from the previous interactions between the user and the stored contact and identified as having a relevancy to the stored contact and the user.
