Further, the apparatus is configured to determine predictive data indicative of a predicted view of the sample. The predicted data is determined based on the sensor data. Further, the apparatus is configured to determine auxiliary data indicative of auxiliary information for a user of the optical imaging system. The auxiliary data is determined based on the predictive data. The apparatus is further configured to transmit an auxiliary signal indicative of auxiliary data.

Dependent claims

An apparatus for an optical imaging system, comprising one or more processors and one or more storage devices, wherein the apparatus is configured to:

receive, from the optical imaging system, sensor data of a sensor of the optical imaging system, the sensor data indicative of a live view of a sample through a microscope of the optical imaging system;
determine, based on the sensor data, predicted data indicative of a predicted view of the sample;
determine, based on the predicted data, auxiliary data indicative of auxiliary information for a user of the optical imaging system;
and
transmit an auxiliary signal indicative of the auxiliary data.
