Abstract

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a housing; a light source configured to emit light; a planar optical sensor where a plurality of optical sensors configured to detect the light from the light source are two-dimensionally arranged; and an object placement part on which an object to be detected is allowed to be placed such that the object to be detected is interposed between the light source and the planar optical sensor. The planar optical sensor, the object placement part, and the light source are arranged in the housing in the order as listed. A heater is provided in the housing.
