Staple and staple collation

A staple collation comprising:

• a plurality of staples, each of the plurality of staples including
• a crown section having opposite ends, and
• a pair of leg sections extending from the opposite ends of the crown section away from the crown section, each of the pair of leg sections including a distal end having an inclined face and a curved surface,
• wherein the inclined face has an edge that is adjacent the curved surface;
• and
• an adhesive strip coupled to the plurality of staples to form the staple collation, the adhesive strip configured to connect adjacent staples by coupling to the leg sections of the adjacent staples.

A staple collation comprising:

• a plurality of staples, each of the plurality of staples including
• a crown section having a diamond shape with a first curve positioned at an apex of the crown section, a second curve, and a third curve representing three points of a diamond, the second curve and the third curve defining, respectively, opposite ends of the crown section, and
• a pair of leg sections extending from the opposite ends of the crown section,
• wherein the second curve and the third curve define a maximum width of the crown section, and
• wherein the opposite ends of the crown section define an end width that is smaller than the maximum width;
• and
• an adhesive material coupled to the plurality of staples to form the staple collation.
