Abstract

[Object] Provided is a wall structure, of a building, that does not generate a gap that communicates the inside and the outside of the room and does not distort the skeleton of the building even when the outer diameter of the wood that is stacked changes. [Solving means] There is provided a framework including a lower horizontal member 2 forming a base, a pair of vertical members 3 and 4 erected perpendicularly to the lower horizontal member 2, and an upper horizontal member 7 provided at an upper part of each of the pair of vertical members 3 and 4, the upper horizontal member 7 forming an eave or a beam. The wall main body 8 is configured by stacking the cross members 9 on the lower horizontal member 2, and a space 34 that allows a variation in the height of the wall main body due to a change in the outer shape of the cross member 9 is provided between the stacked uppermost cross member 9a and the upper horizontal member 7. In a case where a wall having such a structure is used for a building such as a log house used as a sauna, even when the height of the wall varies due to changes in temperature, humidity, and the like, it is possible to maintain confidentiality of the inside and outside of the room without affecting a frame (frame body) constituting the building.
