Anchoring member for a facing panel for stabilised earth structures

A facing panel for a stabilised earth structure, the facing panel comprising:

• a front exposed face;
• a rear face, the rear face during use being positioned in contact with a mass of earth;
• and
• one or more anchoring members, each of the one or more anchoring members comprising:
• a shell defining at least one recess with an opening;
• and
• an anchoring bar extending transversely inside the recess and an elongate reinforcement element being insertable into the opening and passable around the anchoring bar during use, the shell being formed by at least a base portion carrying the anchoring bar and a front portion defining the opening and being releasably attached to the base portion;
• wherein the one or more anchoring members is incorporated inside the facing panel such that the opening is substantially aligned with and opens through the rear face of the facing panel.
