Abstract
A road widener has a chassis; a hopper mounted to a front position of the chassis; a moveable blade mounted to the chassis; a first actuator connected to the moveable blade to raise and lower the blade; an inner edger and an outer edger formed on opposite ends of the blade; a push tube assembly connected to the blade to control the angle of the blade and the width of paving; and a second actuator connected to the push tube assembly to change the length of the push tube and the angle of the blade.

A road widener, comprising:
- a chassis;
- a hopper mounted to a front position of the chassis;
- a moveable blade mounted to said chassis;
- a first actuator connected to the moveable blade to raise and lower the blade;
- an inner edger and an outer edger formed on opposite ends of the blade;
- a push tube assembly connected to the blade to control the angle of the blade and the width of paving;
- and
- a second actuator connected to the push tube assembly to change the length of the push tube and the angle of the blade.
