Crystalline complex between velagliflozin and a co-crystal forming agent selected from L-proline, theobromine, 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid, maltol, thymol, and caffeine, characterized in that the crystalline complex is a complex of velagliflozin and the co-crystal forming agent with a molar ratio in the range from about 1:1 to about 1:3.
