A seat system for a vehicle for lifting and moving loads has a seat rotation mechanism which is operable in response to control signals received from a control system, to rotate an operator seat relative to a vehicle chassis. The control system receives an input from a directional control used by an operator to steer all of the vehicle's ground-engaging units together relative to the chassis and a direction of travel is changed without changing the orientation of the chassis relative to the ground. The control system outputs a control signal to the seat rotation mechanism to cause the operator seat to rotate towards the direction of travel.
