Abstract

The present invention enables positioning of an object to be molded with respect to a pot block having an overhang, and is a conveying apparatus that conveys an object to be molded to a lower mold provided with a pot block having an overhang, including a substrate holder that holds the object to be molded, and a holder moving mechanism that moves the substrate holder, wherein the holder moving mechanism moves the substrate holder toward the pot block in a state where the object to be molded is separated from the lower mold to bring the object to be molded into contact with a lower side of the overhang of the pot block, and the substrate holder releases holding of the object to be molded after the object to be molded is brought into contact with the side by the holder moving mechanism.
