A holding bracket for a power tool stand includes first and second positioning slots respectively provided at top and lateral sides thereof, and a plurality of position adjustment units each having a sliding member with an end portion extending through the second positioning slot, and a threaded fastener extending through the first positioning slot and being engaged with the sliding member, such that the position adjustment units are operable to move along the second positioning slot. Accordingly, when the holding bracket is assembled to a power tool stand, the position adjustment units can be adjusted according to the size of the power tool, allowing the holding bracket to secure power tools of various sizes.
