Abstract

A jig for cap replacement that is used in a centrifuge that centrifugally separates a sample by rotating a zonal rotor that accommodates a solution containing the sample and a density gradient medium, the jig for cap replacement being configured to replace a cap attachable to and detachable from an attachment port of the zonal rotor during rotation of the zonal rotor, the jig for cap replacement including an attachment/detachment arm including a holding part configured to hold the cap, and an arm moving mechanism that moves the attachment/detachment arm between an attachment/detachment position at which the cap is attached and detached and a retreat position at which the attachment/detachment arm retreats from the attachment/detachment position.
