Abstract

A cooling system for a power transmission application is disclosed. The cooling system includes at least one pump configured for conveying a fluid for cooling the power transmission application and including a suction side a vessel defining a longitudinal axis and including an inlet and an outlet feeding the suction side, and a piping feeding both the inlet and the suction side of the at least one pump, whereby the vessel includes a T-shaped pipe arranged within the vessel the T-shaped pipe is fed by the inlet whereby opposite pipe ends extend along the longitudinal axis and are closed with holed ends for spreading fluid into the vessel.
