Abstract

An interlocking cup assembly includes a first interlocking cup and a second interlocking cup configured to be stacked together to form an internal cavity between the bases of the first and second interlocking cups. One or more items (e.g., a game die or the like) can be stored between the two stacked cups. The first and second interlocking cups can include first and second interlocking features disposed on inner and outer surfaces, respectively, of the first and second interlocking cups. In this manner, the interlocking cups can be stacked in various configurations (i.e., over and/or under adjacent cups) to form a stack of any desired number of cups. The cups can be interlocked together to securely enclose to stored items.

Dependent claims

An interlocking cup comprising:

a side wall;
an opening disposed at a first end of the side wall, the opening provides access to an interior volume of the interlocking cup;
a base disposed at a second end of the side wall, the base defines a bottom surface of the interior volume;
a first interlocking feature disposed at an inner surface of the side wall, whereby the interlocking cup is configured to be coupled to a second interlocking cup received at least partially into the interior volume;
and
a second interlocking feature disposed at an outer surface of the side wall, whereby the interlocking cup is configured to be coupled to a third interlocking cup received at least partially over the outer surface of the side wall.

a first opening disposed at a first end of the first side wall, the first opening provides access to an interior volume of the first interlocking cup;

receiving the first interlocking cup into the second opening of the second interlocking cup and rotating the first interlocking cup with respect to the second interlocking cup to interlock the third interlocking feature of the second interlocking cup with the second interlocking feature of the first interlocking cup;
or
receiving the second interlocking cup into the first opening of the first interlocking cup and rotating the first interlocking cup with respect to the second interlocking cup to interlock the fourth interlocking feature of the second interlocking cup with the first interlocking feature of the first interlocking cup.
