Abstract
An exercise equipment comprises a frame assembly including a handrail with an inner side panel, a motion mechanism for a user to perform a specific exercise, a light-transmitting region formed on the inner side panel, a light source disposed within the handrail, and a control unit operable to display a light-emitting state of the light source based on an operational parameter of the exercise equipment. The light-emitting state is visible to the user when performing the specific exercise. Therefore, the user can identify the usage status or operational parameter of the exercise equipment based on the light-emitting state.
Claims20
An exercise equipment, comprising:
- a frame assembly including a handrail, the handrail having an inner side panel facing toward a movement space;
- a motion mechanism movably mounted on the frame assembly to enable a user to perform a specific exercise within the movement space;
- a light-transmitting region formed on the inner side panel and extending along a longitudinal direction of the handrail;
- a light source disposed within the handrail and aligned with the light-transmitting region to emit visible light through the inner side panel;
- and
- a control unit electrically connected to the light source and operable to display a light-emitting state of the light source based on an operational parameter of the exercise equipment, and the light-emitting state is visible to the user when performing the specific exercise.
A treadmill, comprising:
- a frame assembly including a deck and a treadmill belt, the treadmill belt being movably mounted on the deck to define a movement space above the treadmill belt;
- a left handrail and a right handrail extending rearward from the frame assembly and respectively located at left and right sides of the movement space, each handrail having an inner side panel facing toward the movement space;
- a left light-emitting portion and a right light-emitting portion respectively formed on the inner side panel of the left handrail and the inner side panel of the right handrail;
- a light source disposed within each of the left handrail and the right handrail to emit visible light through the left and right light-emitting portions;
- and
- a control unit electrically connected to the light source and the treadmill belt, the control unit being configured to control a light-emitting state of the light source based on an operational parameter of the treadmill belt, wherein the light-emitting state is visible to a user when performing a specific exercise within the movement space.
