Abstract
A game goal includes an articulated support frame that expands into a play-ready state and that collapses into a storage-ready state. A net is mechanically coupled to the support frame to fold and unfold responsive to collapsing and expanding the support frame, respectively. The net forms a goal opening in the game goal for scoring in the game that is of a construction proximal to the goal opening that is other than construction of the net coupled to the support frame at locations thereon removed from the opening.

A game goal for a game comprising:
- an articulated support frame that expands into a play-ready state and that collapses into a storage-ready state;
- and
- a net mechanically coupled to the support frame to fold and unfold responsive to collapsing and expanding the support frame, respectively, and to form a goal opening in the game goal for scoring in the game, the net having a construction proximal to the goal opening that is other than construction of the net coupled to the support frame at locations thereon removed from the opening.
A game goal comprising:
- a support frame comprising:
- rigid support frame members;
- and
- mechanical joints by which the support frame members are mechanically interconnected into an articulated assemblage that expands into a fully-opened play-ready state by sequential partings of the support frame members and that collapses into a fully-folded storage-ready state by sequential gatherings of the support frame members;
- and
- a net secured to the support frame members to fold and unfold therewith responsive to collapsing and expanding the support frame, respectively, the net being secured to the support frame members to form a net pocket therein responsive to gathering a first set of the support frame members into which a second set of the support frame members is folded to place the game goal into the storage-ready state.

A transportable game goal comprising:
- an articulated support frame to which a net is attached to define a goal opening for scoring in a game, the support frame being expandable into a play-ready state and being collapsible into a storage-ready state;
- a gathering mechanism by which the support frame and net are retained in the storage-ready state;
- and
- a cart attachment selectively couplable to the support frame in the storage-ready state, the cart attachment including at least one wheel by which the transportable game goal is rollable.
