Abstract
An object is to provide a technique that improves the poor solubility of a compound of formula (1) in water and further suppresses the cytokine excessive release action and bone marrow toxicity of the compound of formula (1). This object is achieved by a complex comprising a modified polysaccharide containing a hydrophobic group, and a compound represented by formula (1).

A complex comprising a modified polysaccharide containing a hydrophobic group, and a compound represented by formula (1):
- wherein R1 is a C12-25 linear alkyl group, R2 is a C2-8 linear alkyl group, and R3 is a C2-8 linear alkylene group,
- wherein the polysaccharide that forms the modified polysaccharide comprises pullulan, and the hydrophobic group comprises a hydrophobic group having a sterol skeleton.
