• elements, any element in the base sequence is represented by 2K levels after Manchester coding, the 2K levels comprise two different levels, the base sequence is related to a generalized Golay sequence, the generalized Golay sequence is generated by an M-stage register, a register depth 2Pm of an mth stage in the M-stage register is determined by an mth element Pm in a second sequence [P], N is an even number greater than or equal to 2, K and M are integers greater than or equal to 1, m is an integer less than or equal to M and greater than or equal to 1, Pm is an integer greater than or equal to 0, and a sum of first ┌M/2┐ elements in the second sequence is greater than or equal to a sum of last M−┌M/2┐ elements;
• and
• detecting the first signal.

An apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the at least one processor and having program instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to:

• and
• detect the first signal.
