Head assembly and disk drive

A disk drive comprising:

• a head assembly;
• and
• a disk,
• wherein the head assembly includes
• a head,
• a main body to which the head is attached,
• a wiring member that is electrically connected to the head, and
• a board that is attached to the main body,
• wherein the board includes a first terminal portion,
• wherein the wiring member includes a second terminal portion that is electrically joined to the first terminal portion,
• wherein the main body includes an attachment surface to which the board is attached,
• wherein at least a part of the first terminal portion and at least a part of the second terminal portion overlap each other when seen in a first direction perpendicular to the attachment surface,
• wherein a recessed portion that is recessed in a direction away from the board is formed in the attachment surface, and
• wherein the recessed portion overlaps at least a part of the first terminal portion when seen in the first direction.
