Abstract

Techniques for database double write monitoring are disclosed. In an example method, a computing system receives indications of first and second database writes to respective first and second databases. The computing system determines a time interval between the first and second database writes. The computing system, responsive to the time interval being less than a predefined threshold time interval, determines a difference between the first and database writes based on a comparison of the two database writes. The computing system, responsive to the difference indicating that a double write error has occurred, generates a double write error object including information about the first and second database writes. The computing system outputs an instruction to an issue tracking system, based on the double write error object, to cause automatic correction of the double write error.

Dependent claims

A method, comprising:

receiving a first indication of a first database write to a first database comprising first information about the first database write;
receiving a second indication of a second database write to a second database comprising second information about the second database write;
determining a time interval between the first database write and the second database write;
responsive to the time interval being less than a predefined threshold time interval, determining a difference between the first database write and the second database write based on a comparison of the first information about the first database write and the second information about the second database write;
responsive to the difference indicating that a double write error has occurred, generating a double write error object comprising the first information about the first database write and the second information about the second database write;
and
outputting an instruction to an issue tracking system, based on the double write error object, to cause automatic correction of the double write error.
