Abstract
An image forming system includes a print head, a medium transport section, a display section that displays information, and a control section, wherein the control section calculates a printable number of sheets of a medium based on power supply information including information that indicates a capacitance of a power supply and displays, on the display section, the printable number of sheets.
Claims9
An image forming system that operates by power supplied from a power supply, the image forming system comprising:
- a print head configured to print on a medium;
- medium transport section configured to transport the medium toward the print head;
- a display section configured to display information related to printing;
- a control section configured to control the display section, wherein
- the control section
- calculates a printable number of sheets of the medium that are printable by the print head based on power supply information, which is information of the power supply and which includes at least information indicating capacitance of the power supply and
- displays, on the display section, the printable number of sheets.
A control method of an image forming system operated by power supplied from a power supply, the image forming system including
- a print head configured to perform printing on a medium and a display section configured to display information related to printing, the control method comprising:
- acquiring power supply information including information that indicates a capacitance of the power supply;
- calculating, based on the power supply information, a printable number of sheets, which is a number of sheets of the medium on which printing by the print head is possible;
- and
- displaying, on the display section, the printable number of sheets.
