A method comprising:

receiving an identifier that uniquely identifies a device to be managed by a system;
receiving a machine type selection;
receiving a setup selection;
using the machine type selection to fetch a machine type profile from a plurality of machine type profiles;
using the setup selection to fetch setup data for the selected site based on requirement data for different sites;
generating configuration data based on the fetched setup data and the fetched machine type profile;
and
delivering the generated configuration data to the identified device.
