Toner and method of producing the same

Abstract

A toner including a toner particle containing a binder resin and a release agent has the following configuration. The binder resin contains an amorphous polyester resin and a crystalline polyester resin. The amorphous polyester resin includes a hydrophobic site-introduced polyester resin in which a hydrophobic site is introduced into a terminal of a polyester chain. The release agent is a non-polar wax. The difference in SP value between the amorphous polyester resin and the release agent is 1 or more and 2 or less, and the difference in SP value between the crystalline polyester resin and the release agent is 1 or less. When the glass transition temperature of the binder resin is A [° C.] and the glass transition temperature of the toner particle is B [° C.], A-B is 2 or more and 12 or less.
