Abstract
Described herein is a selective electrode membrane having an epoxy resin component, a hardener component, one or more polyurethanes, and a silica. The disclosure is also directed to a selective electrode having a substrate with a selective electrode membrane on a surface thereof, and methods of making the same.
Claims20
A selective electrode membrane, comprising:
- at least one matrix material, and
- at least about 10% w/w silica.
A method of making a selective electrode membrane, comprising:
- combining at least one matrix material, a silica, and a solvent to provide a solution,
- providing the solution on a surface, and
- drying the solution to provide the selective electrode membrane,
- wherein the selective electrode membrane comprises at least about 10% w/w of the silica.
