Abstract
An air conditioner condenser mounting pad includes a clipped corner section to provide ease of condenser installation. The pad further includes security features to deter theft, such features including anchoring mechanisms for attaching the pad to an underlying support surface and/or ballasting substances for weighing down the pad. Such features deter a thief from removing the coupled AC unit.

A mounting pad for supporting an air conditioner condenser unit, the mounting pad comprising:
- a top surface;
- one or more sides extending from a mounting pad underlying support surface to said top surface;
- and
- a recess portion formed in the mounting pad, wherein said recess portion opens through said top surface and extends downwardly to said underlying support surface such that said recess portion defines an unobstructed access opening through an entire thickness of the pad.

A mounting pad for supporting an air conditioner condenser unit, the mounting pad comprising:
- a generally rectangular body having a top surface and four or more sides extending from a mounting pad underlying support surface to said top surface;
- and
- a recess portion formed in the body, said recess portion defining a clipped corner, wherein the recess portion opens through the top surface and extends downwardly to the underlying support surface to define an unobstructed access opening through an entire thickness of said body.
