The disclosed embodiments disclose a thermal-fluid conveyance manifold (TFCM) that includes at least three actuatable valves and a pump that adaptively routes a thermal-energy fluid between a hybrid space-conditioning system (HSCS) and a thermal-energy storage system (TESS) to improve the operation of the HSCS in managing a temperature in a climate-controlled space. During operation, a control mechanism for the TFCM tracks operating characteristics for the HSCS, the TESS, the climate-controlled space, and an environment in proximity to the climate-controlled space that the HSCS uses as a thermal sink and/or a thermal source. The control mechanism uses the tracked operating characteristics and the predicted operating characteristics to adaptively adjust the routing of the thermal-energy fluid through the actuatable valves during the time interval to adaptively transfer energy between the HSCS and the TESS reduce and/or time-shift the watts used by the HSCS to manage the temperature over the time interval.
A computer-implemented method for controlling a thermal-fluid conveyance manifold (TFCM), wherein the TFCM comprises at least three actuatable valves and a pump that facilitate adaptively routing a thermal-energy fluid between at least two thermal mechanisms comprising a hybrid space-conditioning system (HSCS) and a thermal-energy storage system (TESS), wherein the HSCS manages a temperature in a climate-controlled space, the method comprising:
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by a computing device cause the computing device to perform a method for controlling a thermal-fluid conveyance manifold (TFCM), wherein the TFCM comprises at least three actuatable valves and a pump that facilitate adaptively routing a thermal-energy fluid between at least two thermal mechanisms comprising a hybrid space-conditioning system (HSCS) and a thermal-energy storage system (TESS), wherein the HSCS manages a temperature in a climate-controlled space, the method comprising:
