Abstract
A pump for a washing machine has a pump chamber with an inflow, with an outflow and with a pump chamber bottom, an impeller for conveying water inside the pump chamber, and optionally several flow guide vanes radially outside the impeller which are fixedly arranged and extend helically towards the pump chamber bottom. The pump is designed as a centrifugal pump. In accordance with the invention, at least one arched or curved guide blade is arranged either on at least one flow guide vane or on a support ring below of impeller.

A pump, wherein said pump has:
- a pump chamber with an inflow, an outflow, and a pump chamber bottom,
- an impeller for conveying water inside said pump chamber, wherein said impeller extends above said pump chamber bottom,
- at least one flow guide vane radially outside said impeller, said at least one flow guide vane being fixedly arranged and extending helically at least partly surrounding said impeller with a pitch extending in a direction of rotation of said impeller in a direction towards said pump chamber bottom, wherein:
- said pump with said impeller is designed to function as a centrifugal pump with central axial aspiration of water to be conveyed through said inflow and with radial discharge of said water to be conveyed through said outflow,
- at least one guide blade is arranged on said at least one flow guide vane,
- said at least one guide blade is curved and projects from said at least one flow guide vane at least partly in an axial direction of said pump.

- an impeller for conveying water inside said pump chamber, wherein said impeller extends above said pump chamber bottom,
- a circumferential support ring between said impeller and said pump chamber bottom, wherein said circumferential support ring is arranged substantially below said impeller, wherein
- said pump with said impeller is designed to function as a centrifugal pump with central axial aspiration of water to be conveyed through said inflow and radial discharge of said water to be conveyed through said outflow,
- at least two curved guide blades are arranged on said circumferential support ring, said at least two guide blades each having a front edge,
