Electrospun silicone elastomer nonwoven fabric

Abstract

An electrospinning solution includes at least one organic solvent, an addition-crosslinking silicone elastomer composition, and at least one polysiloxane having a viscosity greater than 5 000 000 mPa·s measured at 25° C. and a shear rate of 0.1 s−1. The addition-crosslinking silicone elastomer composition includes at least one organopolysiloxane compound comprising radicals having aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds, at least one organopolysiloxane compound having Si-bonded hydrogen atoms, or instead of (A) and (B) or in addition to (A) and (B), at least one organopolysiloxane compound comprising Si—C-bonded radicals having aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds and Si-bonded hydrogen atoms. None of the components (A), (B) and (C) has a viscosity greater than 800 000 mPa·s measured at 25° C. and a shear rate of 0.1 s−1. The addition-crosslinking silicone elastomer composition also includes at least one hydrosilylation catalyst and no filler or at least one silicon-containing filler.
